I connect most closely with physicians I love my family and friends, am passionately devoted to my hobbies and volunteer activities, and am eager to greet the dawn each morning. It would be great fun to share all the joys and occasional sorrows that life has to offer with a likewise optimistic and joyous person.

Health and fitness activities are very important to me, and I stay fit by hiking about 3-6 miles most days, usually in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In the summer (and sometimes in the winter), I love to hike at high elevation in the Colorado Rockies -- the climb is part of my reward and motivation to get out on the trails at home the rest of the year.

Although I appreciate a wide variety of careers and intellectual pursuits among my friends, I connect most closely for personal relationships with those involved in medicine and medical research. I understand the time committment of those professions, and do not need more time than a busy person has available to give.

I am still quite in awe of Nature's wonders, and have a passion for animals of many sorts. In particular, I own and adore several Golden Retrievers and a raccoon.
