Hello fellow life savers... I joined this site in search of new friends that share a common interest! I am single and independent. I have never been married, yet raised a daughter alone. She is recently engaged and moved from home. To my surprise dealing with empty-nest syndrome has proven somewhat difficult. I graduated nursing school in the year two thousand four. Then in 2007 took the Basic Emergency Medical Technician course to gain CEU's for nursing and to expand my medical career. I was so intrigued by the EMS world that I found myself applying for the Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic level. After completing the program in 2009 I was lucky enough to become a candidate for what was suppose to be a routine out-patient Knee Surgery. The harsh reality that the healing process would be at least a year was devastating. My eage
ess and excitement of working as a Paramedic was shattered. Today I am able to work EMS PRN in attempts to maintain my knowledge and skills. I am employed full time as a pediatric nurse for Oxford Healthcare.
Content with life now I am convinced to push on and hopefully continue influencing each life I encounter. With that being said I have realized to take time out for self. LOL Looking so forward to chatting with other medical professionals; possibly a chance to date and build life long friendships, hopefully even more.
