Is it contagious doc? Having been in the medical profession and the daughter (and granddaughter) of physicians, I have the utmost respect for medicine. I an a
, originally an operating room nurse, but later transitioned into administration. To add insult to injury, I also have a law degree but never practiced law. I was the Director of Risk Management for a psychiatric hospital and then worked for the Office of Professional Medical Conduct in NY state. I am pro doc, but did not hesitate to go after a bad doc. Luckily, most are not.
What I dislike about the medical industry has mostly to do with the insurance industry. Medical malpractice reform wouldn't hurt either.
