How are we going to take care of the Boomers? Perhaps it's a little self-centered, but as an aging boomer myself, I wonder how we are going to re-engineer our system to take care of everyone. I have worked in the geriatric field for a number of years and it's a mess. I recently started working in psychiatry and it's a mess, too. We're spending way too much money unproductively.
I'm a social worker and about to start my own geriatric care mgt practice. I know there's a huge need. I don't know if I'll live to see much of a fix for the larger system.
Anyway, looking for long term companionship -- a friend, a lover, a long term relationship but not constant or live-in. Enjoy being around folks in the field.
