Countrynurse, 61

Hi. I'm a Registered Nurse who has worked in hospitals, dialysis and now am doing the Home Health scene. I grew up in Bedford Co., Va., on a small farm and love country living! I now live in Amelia, Va., on 15 acres and have 1 cat, 4 dogs, 2 horses, 1 rooster a parrot and a parakeet; all of which are spoiled! I love my profession and my patients, but love my home life and critters equally. I'm sure the person reading this can understand some of these feelings. We work hard and give our all to our clients and then want to escape some from the phone calls and paperwork! My relief is riding my horses, working in my gardens and exercising with my dogs. I enjoy all types of music but especially fond of Country and classic Rock. I enjoy reading and dabble a little in writing when I have time which isn't too often. LOL! I love to watch good movies and absolutely love to dance. A good conversation is wonderful no matter if it is work, politics or life! I'm not really a girly girl and have never had a manicure or pedicure at my age of 47. I do like trying to step out of my comfort zone of country and dress up occassionally, but feel a pair of jeans and T-shirt are my style; when I get home from work. What I would like is to find someone who feels some of the same things I do and share life with him. Life is so short and I sure do not want to waste any of it!
