My story is one of passion that has no end & is full of expression. Passion for knowledge, & imagination, & understanding of the mind, & body, & curious world. Passion for creative ideas, & for adventure, & for making connections to enrich life.
Though I enjoy experiencing things alone, they grow in size & power when shared with one of equal, desirous fervor. It disharmonious-ly plays against the strings of my character to strum out how to make something NOT work or to ignore a curious potential. My goodness I naturally smile with excitement & focus on figuring out how something works or how to make a thing work more effectively, or more efficiently, or more ridiculously, or more anything GOOD. I kinda don't ever want that to change about me. It is possible that I have a distorted perception of myself & of good, but I believe I'm learning & gaining a more thorough understanding of all things worth time & energy. And all things worth time and energy should come from as well as lead to learning, kindness, & happiness (more often all three on some level.) Are they not integral parts of all constructive things people do? Perhaps my innate choice to follow curiosity in positive, productive (ok maybe often times silly) directions gave rise to insight, some intelligence, wit, & bright fantasy (or at least provides me comfort in thinking the lot about my behavior.) With that sweeping conclusion, I resume my decidedly productive path...
I understand that this narrative tells everything & nothing about me. Seriously, how does one describe one's self? I can write of my education, & occupation, & interests, & those things will provide some understanding of my character but not the complexities & silliness that make me the individual of whom I am, or think I am, or whom I wish to be.
My undergraduate degree is in Biology & I worked for 13 yrs as a Medical Technologist. My graduate degree is in Occupational Therapy. I currently work as an MOTR/L & I will be an artist one day.
