A nurse for 40+ years Although I've been a nurse for a long time, I don't really like sick people. I would rather do what I can to keep them healthy. I have been involved in nursing education for 20 years and feel that teaching students to be caring and considerate and to treat their patient with respect in an non-judgmental way will help to preserve the professions future. What I hate are people you are only in the profession for the money and those who will not take responsibility for what is not done well in the facility where they work and ones who are not good health role models.
